NixieClocks.ch uses IN-14 tubes. These tubes were common tubes and are now quite good to procure. IN-14 tubes can be recognized by the number "5". To simplify the production, a reversed "2" was used as the number "5".
IN-14 tubes can display the digits 0 ... 9. The figure height is 18 mm.
The melted wires must be soldered. NixieClocks.ch therefore solders a socket with a plug to connect.
Nixieclocks.ch installs right now unused tubes.
At the back of these tubes "ИН-14", "12" respectively "08", a "circle with dot", "82" respectively "83" and symbol "pentagonal shield" symbol are printed.
Some series do not contain all information. However, the imprint is not always well preserved due to the age of the tubes. These tubes have excellent prints.
IN-14 (ИН-14) type designation of this tubes.
The shown tubes were made in December 1982 and August 1983 respectively.
